Dee Sheldon brings nearly 25 years of experience to the field of recovery and addictions treatment. Since beginning her own recovery journey in 2000, she has dedicated her career to helping others find their path to healing. Her extensive professional background includes clinical roles at several highly regarded institutions, including Hanley-Hazelton, Gratitude House, The Phoenix Center, and Pavillon.
Originally from West Palm Beach, Florida, Dee has been a resident of Greenville, South Carolina, since 2006. Her life experiences are geographically diverse, having also lived in Rincon, Puerto Rico, and San Jose, Costa Rica—perspectives that she brings into her empathetic approach to patient care.
For Dee, the work is deeply personal. “It has been one of my greatest accomplishments to give back to others struggling with addictions,” she shares. “Supporting those in need is what keeps me grounded and focused on my own continuous path to recovery.”
When she is not working with clients, Dee focuses on her own spiritual growth through the practice of yoga. She is an enthusiast of history and culture, specifically collecting Native American artifacts, and enjoys the adrenaline of motorcycling with her husband. Above all, she is a devoted family woman with a grown son and daughter and five beloved grandchildren.
