George Rhinehardt - NCPS

George brings over four years of dedicated experience and a lifetime of resilience to the BuildWell Health team. His journey is defined by a profound transformation—from a background in competitive collegiate and military sports to overcoming a decade-long battle with substance use during the 1980s. Having navigated the complexities of recovery through NA, AA, and Celebrate Recovery, George eventually found his calling in leadership, founding and facilitating his own recovery groups.

In 2019, life presented a new challenge when a traumatic accident left George a paralyzed double amputee. Rather than letting this define his limits, he used the experience to fuel a new sense of purpose. After earning his North Carolina State and National Peer Support Certifications, he spent four years providing remote support with Youturn Health. Today, George combines his clinical certification with his powerful lived experience to offer empathetic, grounded, and unwavering support to those navigating their own paths to wellness.
